Course Overview
This course provides a progression route to Degree and HNC/HND courses in all areas of Art and Design. The full time course runs for 1 year (min 15 hrs per week) and the Part time course runs for 2 years (8 hrs per week).
This may course consist of:
- Visual Studies
- Fine Art
- Contextual Studies
- Ceramics
- Painting
- Photography
- Textiles
You will also work towards a Personal Development qualification and will be involved in a range of activities, designed to improve your employability.

BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design or an A Level pass at Grade C with 4 GCSEs Grade C to include English.
At interview, you must bring a portfolio of work displaying an interest and ability in photography and/or Art & design. Details of this will be confirmed in the email invitation at a later date.
You will be required to complete Essential Skills in Numeracy, Literacy and ICT if you do not have a GCSE grade C.
