Why Study This Course

This Level 3 Apprenticeship is aimed at those who are wanting to progress from Level 2 and who already have some experience in land based technology. This course will develop your skills to move into a more senior, or management role in land based technology or higher level training.

This Apprenticeship deals with the maintenance and repair of a range of mechanised equipment used in agriculture and other land-based industries.  Students will learn about land-based engineering operations, service and repair of hydraulic systems and components in land-based equipment and how to understand land-based vehicle chassis systems.

Successful completion of the course will give students a formal qualification, built on practical experience.

Course Overview

This 2 year apprenticeship is made up of practical and theory based teaching. 

Students will attend college for 7 hours per week, with the remainder of the week being spent with their employer.

Students need to secure an employer prior to enrolment.
