Level 2 Traineeships are ideal for young learners who wish to develop and practice the skills required for employment within the Art and Design industry.

The new Traineeship programme will allow participants to achieve a full Level 2 qualification and will comprise the following key elements within the Direct Entry Traineeship or the Introductory Traineeship:
This full-time, 20-hour week, traineeship programme will allow participants to achieve a full Level 2 qualification and will comprise the following key elements:
- A main vocational based qualification equivalent to a minimum of 4 GCSEs at grade C.
Transversal skills qualification equivalent to 1 GSCE.
Work placement
Literacy and numeracy qualifications at Level 1 & 2
You will need to be over 16 years of age and working towards:
- minimum GCSE grade E in English
- minimum GCSE grade E in Mathematics
- and two other GCSEs grade F or above or equivalent qualification level*
*subject to change
Applicants that have not obtained the above grades may be eligible to enrol as an Introductory Trainee. Please contact us for further information.
There will be two weeks Induction when the course commences in September.
There will be an interview and skills test for this course
