Why Study This Course

This Level 3 Site Carpentry course is designed to develop the skills and knowledge to enable you to work at an advanced level within the construction industry.  There is an attendance commitment requirement of 15 hours per week for Full-time and 7 hours per week for Part-time.

Modules to be completed:

  • Health, safety and welfare in construction
  • Carry out first fix flooring and roofing
  • Carry out second fixing operations
  • Principles of organising, planning and pricing construction work
  • Carry out first fix roofing and stairs
  • Carry out second fixing double doors and mouldings set up and use fixed and transportable machinery

A Level 2 qualification in Carpentry & Joinery before progressing to level 3. Industry experience will also be taken into consideration.

You have worked in the construction industry and have plenty of experience or if you want to develop your skills further and move to a more senior role.

How to carry out first and second fixings on flooring, roofing and stairs.

Our Industry standard workshops using simulated conditions.

Into employment or alternatively onto further education such as HNC/HND.
