Level 3 Award in Learning and Development (Train the Trainer)
The OCN NI Level 3 Award in Learning and Development qualification provides an introduction to the skills and knowledge required to be able to offer effective training programmes to others.
The objectives of the qualification are to understand the principles and practices of learning and development and be able to -
- Develop and prepare resources for learning and development plan
- Prepare and facilitate group learning and development
- Reflect on own practice in learning and development
There are no formal entry requirements however learners must have sufficient capabilities to complete learning and assessment. Skill Up funding is available to those who meet the following criteria:
(a) over 18 years of age;
(b) eligible to work in Northern Ireland;
(c) ‘settled’ in Northern Ireland, and has been ordinarily resident in the UK for at least three years; or
(d) is a person who has indefinite leave to enter or remain in the UK.
- Understand the principles and practices of learning and development
- Be able to develop and prepare resources for learning and development
- Be able to plan, prepare and facilitate group learning and development
- Be able to reflect on own practice in learning and development
