Intertrade Ireland Innovation Boost - Provides expertise to bring your ideas to reality

Innovation Boost

Funded by InterTradeIreland, Innovation Boost helps companies fund a high calibre science, engineering or technology graduate, as well as partnering you with a third level institution with relevant expertise.

The graduate is employed by you and is based in your company throughout the project (12 – 18 months) with mentoring from the academic partner and InterTradeIreland Innovation Boost consultant.

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships is a UK-wide activity that helps businesses improve their competitiveness and productivity by making better use of the knowledge, technology and skills residing within universities, colleges, and research organisations. The three essential elements are:

  • Transfer of technology or strategic management expertise from the knowledge base to the company.
  • Provision of industry-based training and experience for graduates.
  • Enhanced levels of research and teaching in the College.
