Courses Wizard

Find the right course for you using our handy course finder wizard. Simply follow each step as listed below.

Step 1: How do you want to study?

You can study for your course in one of two ways:

  • Full-Time: Full-Time courses tend to run for 30 weeks and you normally study during the day Monday to Friday
  • Part-Time: Our Part-Time courses can vary on the number of weeks you will study. Most courses have options for study in the evening, more suited for people with a full-time job.

Step 3: What type of course do you want to study?

There are two different types of courses we offer at SERC, Further Education and Higher Education:

  • Further Education (FE): If you have just completed your GCSEs this is most likely the option for you. FE covers qualifications from entry to higher level qualifications such as awards, certificates, diplomas, NVQ, BTEC and Apprenticeships.
  • Higher Education (HE): If you have just completed your A-Levels this is most likely the option for you. HE usually covers HNC, HND, Foundation Degree level of courses including our Higher Level Apprenticeships.

Step 4: Select a subject area that interests you:

All our courses are divided into subject areas to make it easier for you to find a course that interests you.
For example, the Certificate in Gardening course would be found in Horticulture
