The Level 3 Refrigeration Apprenticeship is a comprehensive training program designed for individuals pursuing a career in refrigeration. This course combines practical, hands-on experience with theoretical knowledge to equip apprentices with the skills needed to become fully qualified.

Throughout this apprenticeship, student will learn and develop skills in relation to maintain Refrigeration systems. Students will benefit from the equipment used for teaching and they will enjoy the practical nature of the course.
Students will learn how to maintain safe working environments, planning, installing and designing Refrigeration systems. Students need to be employed in the industry and want to pursue a career in Refrigeration.
The apprenticeship is delivered through a blend of practical on-the-job training and classroom-based learning. Apprentices will spend most of their time (usually 4 days per week) working with an employer, gaining valuable industry experience while attending college or a training provider for theoretical lessons (usually 1 day per week).
The course includes assessments, practical tasks and exams to ensure competency in Refrigeration skills.
You will need:
- to have secured an employer AND
- have successfully completed Level 2 Apprenticeship in Refrigeration & Air-Conditioning

- Maintaining a safe working environment for RAC activities
- Planning complex RAC work activities
- Installing complex RAC systems and components
- Designing complex RAC systems
