South Eastern Regional College (SERC) are looking to add to their stock of men and women’s professional clothing for their ‘Suited and Booted’ campaign which aims to help students prepare for interviews by providing smart workwear.

Lizzie Buick, SERC’s Deputy Head of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship said, “If you’re having a wardrobe clear out please consider us. We welcome professional clothes in very good condition including shirts, ties, trousers, jackets, skirts, dresses and shoes. These items will be particularly beneficial for our students who, instead of buying a new outfit for an interview, will be able to pick one up free of charge from one of the campuses zero shops.”

She added, “It’s win-win for everyone, as well as doing our bit to help overturn the fast fashion model of take, make and waste, we are helping cash strapped students prepare for interviews without having to resort to adding to waste. There is a desperate need to limit the vast amount of waste that fashion creates.”
