South Eastern Regional College (SERC) recently had a visit from Brandon Steckler from WORLDPAC, a USA based automotive parts and equipment distributor.

Brandon Steckler flew over from the United States to deliver some motor vehicle upskilling across the UK and Ireland with SERC hosting the only Northern Ireland event.

Janice Cooke, International Development Manager said, “We partnered with a company called Elite Diagnostic Solutions in order to host this event. Elite Diagnostic Solutions have brought Brandon over from the USA to deliver training on pressure transducer equipment.

“The aim of the session was to equip people in the industry, who have lab scope or engine mechanical operation knowledge, with the ability to capture pressure waveforms and be able to use the information to make diagnostic decisions.

“We were delighted to host over 30 automotive businesses from across Northern Ireland. Attendees are leaving with confidence to invest in the tooling to perform pressure testing which will enable them to innovate within their company using this advanced diagnostic equipment thus leading to efficiency and cost savings.”
