Applications for next year’s WorldSkills are now open, and if you are interested in competing, please register yourself after talking it through with your tutor.

Applications for next year’s WorldSkills are now open, and if you are interested in competing, please register yourself after talking it through with your tutor.

The competition is for both students and apprentices, allowing them the opportunity to compete in competitions to test their skills, win awards and possibly even represent team GB.

WorldSkills is an accelerator for young people in the start-up phase of their careers. The competition aims to inspire more young people to take up apprenticeships and technical education, they champion their success and aim to accelerate their personal and professional development.

There are a range of skills being tested within the four main categories of:

  • Engineering and Technology
  • Digital, Business and Creative
  • Health Hospitality and Lifestyle
  • Construction and Infrastructure
