Winner of SU Positive Sticker Competition Announced

Congratulations to Gareth Pedlow, Level 3 Media Studies student at the Downpatrick Campus for winning the Students’ Union positive sticker competition. The competition sought uplifting designs that would be then displayed around campuses to spready some positivity.

Speaking about his design and winning the competition, Gareth said “I thought of ways to connect with the students through phrases that I have heard around the college and used it in my idea, I created the designs through a very helpful and easy website called Canva you don’t need to be a pro at creating art with Canva.

“I feel very proud that one of my designs will be used to help people feel a bit better during these current times and this is the first time I have ever created something to be put into a competition but this has gave me the confidence to do more”
