Yes? Then the Eco Committee wants YOU!

Eco Committee members receive a skills certificate and can have their work accredited through an external organisation.

Eco Officer:
- This role is elected through the Students' Union. To nominate yourself, complete a short form by clicking here.
- The Eco Officer supports and helps create eco initiatives on campus and beyond. They help run their campus Eco Committee by setting up meetings and coordinating a team.
- There is plenty of support & training for this role! No prior experience needed.
- A full role description will be released by the SU team next week in their Microsoft Team (click here to join).
Green Champion:
- Students or staff can adopt this role by attending an information session. The information session will take place in October, with sign up details released closer to the date.
- Green Champions help create and deliver eco initiatives on campus and beyond e.g. litter picks, promotional campaigns, recycling bins and more!
- Green Champions attend monthly Committee meetings, where the team discusses ideas for projects, decides what they would like to do and plans how to deliver.
- The Eco Committee is supported closely by the Enterprise team, who also work with the Committee to help deliver projects when needed.
- The time commitment is ultimately up to the individual.
