Get Ready for Halloween at SERC’s Spooky Fairs

SERC are hosting a series of fairs at their main campuses in Bangor, Downpatrick, Lisburn and Newtownards from October 22-24 in preparation for Halloween.  

The fairs, open to the public, staff and students, are the perfect opportunity to stock up on sweet treats and Halloween décor and take part in crafts while you listen to live music all courtesy of SERC’s talented and entrepreneurial students.  

Deputy Head of Enterprise and Entrepreneurship, Lizzie Buick said, “We host fairs throughout the academic year to give our students the chance to gain experience in creating, producing and selling their products to members of the public.

“Encouraging students to consider entrepreneurial opportunities is an important part of the College’s ethos. We want to provide opportunities today that help our students pursue their dreams and build the businesses of tomorrow.”   

The markets will run from 11.00am to 1.00pm each day at:

• Tuesday October 22 Newtownards Campus,
• Wednesday October 23 Downpatrick Campus
• Thursday October 24 Lisburn and Bangor Campuses.
