One of the best things about doing a course at SERC is the variety of learning opportunities. And whilst some of your learning will take place in a classroom, workshop or specialist training area, some will take place in a location similar to where further studies or employment will take you.
Such is the case for everyone on the Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment. As part of assessment for their course, the students, led by Lecturer Kyle Mulholland, took their learning outside in Lisburn City Centre, to complete level surveying using specialist equipment to produce longitudinal section plans – replicating a real-life scenario that may be part of their roles in the workplace.
