SU Recognition Awards 2021- Outstanding Individual Contribution to the Students' Union

This March, the 2021 SERC SU Conference was hosted virtually. This was an opportunity to celebrate the amazing work that the Class Reps and SU Officers have done this year with the SERC SU Recognition Awards.

Two officers received the award for Outstanding Individual Contribution to the Students’ Union: Sharon McCartney, Disability Officer for Lisburn and Lucia Donaghy, Equality and Diversity Officer for Lisburn.    

Both Sharon and Lucia have been remarkable advocates for the student community, both internally and on a regional level, always ensuring that the Students’ Union is inclusive and representative of the interests of all students. The team has recognised how they have both grown over the past year, in both their personal and professional development, and would like to congratulate them on all their hard work this year.
