Three Level 2 Hair and Media Make-up students at SERC Lisburn Campus took the top sport at the annual Intercampus Hair and Media Make-up competition.
Three Level 2 Hair and Media Make-up students at South Eastern Regional College’s (SERC) Lisburn Campus took all the podium places at the annual Intercampus Hair and Media Make-up competition.
The students were assessed by an expert panel of professional make-up artists who judged the students on the total overall look and awarded points for make-up, hair, costume, creativity, and recycling and sustainability.
First place went to Hannah Morrison (28); second place went to Caroline Parkes (28); and Toni Harper-Mclaughlin (19) took third place. All three students are from Lisburn.
Lynn Rainey, Hair and Media Make-up Lecturer at SERC’s Lisburn Campus said, “It was a very tight competition, as an extremely high standard of work was on display from all the participants. I would like to commend everyone who took part and congratulate those who were placed in what was a very exciting competition.”
She added, “Special thanks to the judges Alana, Caroline and Sunita, who took time out of their busy schedules as make-up artists in the TV and film industry to meet the students and give them feedback on their work.”
