expression of interest now open for volunteer judges

September has arrived, which means Induction Fortnight and the subsequent Enterprise Showcases are just around the corner. The Enterprise team have been busy planning and are now looking for volunteers from both corporate and academic staff to help with the judging process. Like last year, presenting and judging of projects will take place in classrooms, giving students the opportunity to display their PBL projects and receive valuable face to face feedback.

The Enterprise Showcases will be happening on the following dates and campuses:

  • Bangor 22nd September
  • Lisburn 23rd September
  • Downpatrick 24th September
  • Newtownards 24th September

Expressions of interest are now being taken, and any free time you can volunteer would be greatly appreciated by the Enterprise team. To find out what the judging process involves watch the following video.

If this looks like something you would like to get involved in, sign up to volunteer as a judge on the Judge Sign Up Sheet.

This year allows external stakeholders to be welcomed back onto campus for the Enterprise Showcases. There are already several external judges signed up which is a great opportunity for students to receive feedback from external industry experts. This is also an opportunity for staff volunteers to judge alongside these individuals, so feel free to put your name down beside any of the external judges you would be interested in buddying up with!

If you want to find out more, please get in touch with Megan Rollins and Rachel Innes from the Enterprise team, who will be more than happy to answer any of your questions.
