QAA Northern Ireland Conference: Contemporary Higher Education Practice  15 October 2021, 9:30 - 14:30

QAA is hosting the Contemporary Higher Education Practice Conference specifically for our members in Northern Ireland on Friday 15 October. QAA has been working with a team of colleagues at South West College (SWC) on the development of this conference.    

The event will be focusing on current themes and practices in higher education such as blended/digital learning, student voice/engagement, sustainability, assessment, apprenticeships and enhancement. The event will be hosted online via QAA’s virtual Events Platform, EventsAir, and will welcome expert speakers from QAA and across UK higher education providers.   

There will be keynotes and workshops targeted at staff with remits such as: 

  • quality enhancement
  • teaching, learning and assessment 
  • learning technologists/digital developers
  • development of apprenticeships.

Alastair Delaney - Director of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, QAA

Vicki Stott - Deputy Chief Executive, QAA

Martin Weller - Open University Prof Education Technology
