Bangor Academy Visits SERC Bangor Campus

SERC was pleased to host 29 students from Bangor Academy at the College’s Bangor SPACE Campus recently. During their visit, students participated in a Design Thinking Workshop, offering them valuable insight into SERC’s Problem-Based Learning (PBL) assessment and methodology. They also had the opportunity to learn more about the College’s Higher Education provision, by talking to different curriculum areas.

Stuart Rankin, Head of Higher Education at SERC said:  “This was a fantastic opportunity to inspire students from Bangor Academy  through the Design Thinking Workshop and promote SERCs HE provision.   The engagement from the student was excellent both throughout the workshop and HE Information session.  This has been a really positive event, further developing links with Bangor Academy and allowing us to showcase the HE programmes at the College.  Thank you to all involved in making it a success”
