Apply Now for HE grants & loans with Student Finance NI

Are you planning on enrolling on a Higher Education (HE) course at SERC for the upcoming 2021/22 academic year?

You can apply for Student Finance to assist with the cost of your studies. All Higher Education students will be required to provide evidence of how they will make payment of their tuition fees at the point of enrolment. 

HE Student Finance consists of non-repayable grants, repayable loans, or a combination of both and can assist with tuition fees, day to day expenses whilst studying, childcare costs and costs relating to a disability or long-term health condition.

If you are a full-time Higher Education student, you can apply to Student Finance NI for a Tuition Fee Loan, Maintenance Grant/Special Support Grant and a Maintenance Loan. Depending on your individual circumstances, additional assistance is also available including a Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA), Childcare Grant, Adult Dependents’ Grant and Parents’ Learning Allowance. If you are a part-time Higher Education student, you can apply for a Tuition Fee Grant, Tuition Fee Loan and a Course Grant. Depending on your individual circumstances, additional assistance is also available in the form of a Disabled Students’ Allowance (DSA). Applications will open soon and you will be able to apply online at www.studentfinanceni.co.uk.

All Higher Education students will be required to provide evidence of how they will make payment of their tuition fees at the point of enrolment. You should apply for your Student Finance as soon as possible to ensure your funding is in place when you enrol on your course.

Once you have confirmation of funding, you should upload it to your application.
