Course Overview

The purpose of this course is to provide students with the basic knowledge and skills that are required for the Level 3 University Access course or for progression to Level 2 and Level 3 courses within the College.

This course will help you acquire a fresh start in education. Whether you want to retrain, change careers or transform your skills, we are happy to help you regardless of your circumstances or educational background.

Our Restart Education programme allows you to get a solid foundation of knowledge while also gaining a positive experience of learning in a way that is inviting and supportive.

Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements, however there is an informal interview process prior to enrolment.
Where will it take me?
On successful completion of this course, you can progress onto the full University Access course or for progression to Level 2 and Level 3 courses within the College.
How will it make me more employable?
The course will help to improve your literacy and numeracy skills.
How will I be assessed and given feedback?
Assessment is through portfolio work, set assignments and examinations.
