Action Cancer Information Sessions

On Thursday 14th March 2019 Action Cancer will be delivering one hour interactive sessions for male and female to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of the most common cancers and highlight ways to reduce your risk of developing cancer.
The sessions will be held in room in the Lisburn Campus in the Linen Room.
Female Awareness Session will be 11.30 am to 12.30 pm: This session will focus breast, ovarian, cervical, bowel, lung and skin cancer.
Male Awareness Session will be at 1.00 pm to 2.00 pm: This session will focus on prostate, testicular, bowel, lung and skin cancer.
The sessions will provide advice and practical demonstrations on self-examination and what to do if you notice any changes, as well as looking at screening programmes for early detection. Lifestyle advice is provided to highlight ways you can reduce your risk of getting cancer, along with some additional information about support services available at Action Cancer for those affected by cancer.
