Time to Talk Day is one of the biggest days on the mental health calendar and takes place on Thursday 1 February this year. This year’s theme is: ‘Say What You Really Mean’.

Even when people say, “I’m all good”, “I’m grand” or “I’m not too bad”, the truth is often quite different. They may have worries about family problems, issues at work or personal finance anxieties. Time to Talk Day’s key aim is simple: to encourage crucial personal discussions between friends, family, co-workers and peers. Discussing our mental health isn’t always easy and it’s often simpler to pretend everything is ok, but just one conversation can change a person’s life for the better.
