SERC is always keen to promote new and exciting ways to engage with students to help them learn. In this series, we will share good practice and use of resources from different college departments that may be of use to you.

Today we are looking at supporting learner progress.

Supporting learner progress can be achieved via several resources and apps.

Above we can see a Microsoft Quizlet quiz embedded in Moodle that can be used to track learner progress and support their learning via short tests. This can be valuable in pinpointing specific areas learners can improve and provide valuable data on student progress.

Structured support material in Microsoft Teams page Files sections can likewise be used to help students progress with accessible learning material.

If you want to learn more about how Microsoft Teams, Moodle or e-assessments can work for you and your students, please feel free to contact Stuart Rankin for a chat. Support can be provided by the Learning Academy mentors (contact them through the service desk or at learningacademy@serc.ac.uk)
