SU Recognition Awards 2021- Outstanding Contribution to Charity

This March, the 2021 SERC SU Conference was hosted virtually. This was an opportunity to celebrate the amazing work that the Class Reps and SU Officers have done this year with the SERC SU Recognition Awards.   

Bethany Dickson, Women’s Officer (Newtownards) was awarded with Outstanding Contribution to Charity.   

This year, SERC SU led various charity campaigns and fundraising initiatives, such as the Movember campaign, Helping Hand fundraiser and donation drives for the local foodbanks.     

Bethany was recognised for going above and beyond for the SU’s Christmas Foodbank Collections to secure donations in the Newtownards area. She has also been consistently active and engaged in other SU initiatives throughout the year and has proven herself to be a vital part of the Students’ Union.
