SERC on BBC's The One Show

If you plan to do anything this weekend, then please include watching The One Show on BBC 1 at 7pm this Friday 12 February.

We can’t say too much, except that BBC camera man, Austin Irwin, popped into our Lisburn Campus earlier this week to catch up with the lovely Stefanie Campbell from SERC’s Learning Academy who will feature on tonight’s show.    We cannot wait!     

Stefanie, you will remember, scooped a Pearson National Gold Teaching Award in December for all the wonderful work she does around digital transformation, which was announced on The One Show by presenter Alex Jones.

And if that’s not news enough…we are giving you heads up for DIY SOS Big Build, BBC 1, 9pm on Monday 22 February featuring not ONE, but TWO of our Electrical Lecturers, the wonderful Mark Kerr and Steven Donnelly.    We have an exclusive article going up on the website on Monday so you can read the full story about the build that took place in June 2019.
