Finally, some good news!
SERC Northern Ireland Film & Television School Feature on Good Morning Ulster
Radio Ulster's Sara Neill popped down to interview some of the NI Film & Television School second year students for a special programme that's due to go out on Thursday 11 April. Good Morning Ulster's broadcast will come live from the Strand Cinema in East Belfast to celebrate NI’s burgeoning film and television production industry. Sara spent the morning with the students down in the NIFTS studios, getting a flavour for what the course entails, for a pre-recorded package for the programme... you can listen to Sara's report around 7.45am tomorrow but tune in early so you don’t miss it.
Sara caught up with HND student Stephen Parker who talked her through the workings of a Sony FS7 camera and NIFTS graduate and SERC's new Media Technician, Angie Eadie, who told Sara about her journey from mother of four young children back into education via NIFTS and a whole new career in the film and television industry. Angie also freelances as a sports camerawoman and has spent the past two years filming the Belfast Giants' home games at the SSE Arena.
