Newry Mourne and Down Enterprise Week 2021- SERC

Newry, Mourne and Down District Council recently launched NMD Enterprise Week 2021, which will run from 8 to 12 November. This year’s theme is ‘Make it Your Business’, with the aim of highlighting skills and career choices for future entrepreneurs.

Throughout Enterprise Week there will be a series of free business-focused seminars, workshops, online networking opportunities and mentoring sessions to assist new business start-ups, established local businesses, social enterprises and students.

South Eastern Regional College (SERC) is supporting the week and will host a range of virtual events that are free to join. You can sign up here:

Elaine Flynn, Commercial Contracts Manager at SERC, said “I am delighted that SERC can support our local business community with information on our extensive menu of training, innovation, apprenticeship and graduate programmes, all of which are currently 100% funded by the Department for the Economy.

“Our webinars will include full details of eligibility, benefits of the programmes and how to apply. These interventions will aid local businesses and individuals in challenging times on the pathway to economic recovery and growth.”
