SERC Support Co Down 5k

Good luck to SERC’s Brenda Hanna and Anne Marie Williams from our Training Organisation, and all the staff and students participating in the Athletics NI Co Down 5K on Sunday 17 November in Downpatrick.  

Anne Marie said, “This is a brilliant charity run which has become an annual event in the running calendar, involving people at all levels.   Not only is it great to take part for the fitness aspect, but by getting involved, participants are raising funds for local charity Downpatrick Autism Family Support Group.  

She added, “The race offers some excellent prizes for winners and SERC have kindly donated vouchers for a four-course meal at our McNeill Room Restaurant and for a wash, cut and blow dry at The De Courcey Hair and Beauty Salon at the Downpatrick Campus on Market Street.  The biggest prize is for everyone however, and that is the craic and camaraderie you will experience on the day, so I would encourage anyone thinking about entering to sign up today.”
