SERC Student Recognised in NI Hair and Beauty Awards 2024

SERC Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering student Ami Morrow has received the Highly Commended Award in the Apprentice of the Year category at the NI Hair and Beauty Awards 2024.   

The NI Hair and Beauty Awards is an event that recognises the best of the best in the hair and beauty industry, acknowledging the hard work, dedication, creativity, and quality customer service of the talented individuals and businesses that operate in Northern Ireland. 

SERC Barbering student Ami Morrow, who is an apprentice at LaVeau Hair, Dundonald, was recognised with the Highly Commended award in the Apprentice of the Year category at the awards event which took place in the La Mon Hotel & Country Club recently. Ami has just completed her third year with SERC. She initially studied on the Level 2 Diploma in Hair and Media Make-Up course before moving onto the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Hairdressing course and now recently completed the Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Barbering course.  

On her success Ami comments, “I am over the moon to be awarded Highly Commended for Apprentice of the Year and thank you to all my tutors at SERC, I am honoured to have been given this award and to be recognised!”
