SERC Sports Alumni Continue ln Competition

SERC alumni Chloe Brown and Rhys McClenaghan continue their sporting journey at international level.

Chloe Brown, who completed the Level 3 Sport was in action for Ireland v South Africa in the SPAR Indoor Hockey Series 23 – 25 February in Gormanston Park.   Although South Africa won the final test and the Series 4 -1, Ireland shone in game one winning against the world number 14 side.  

Meanwhile, Rhys McClenaghan, who also completed the Level 3 Sport, won silver on the Pommel-Horse at the 2022 Taishan Artistic Gymnastics World Cup finals in Doha, Qatar.   This was Rhys’s first competition in 2022 and secures him important qualification points ahead of the Cairo and Baku World Cups later this month.
