International Women's Day

International Women's Day is a global campaign celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women and raising awareness of issues relating to gender parity. It also provides an opportunity to consider the challenges women face to their wellbeing and how we can support each other.

It also provides an opportunity to consider our differing lived experience of mental health issues, and the specific challenges women face to their wellbeing. Some of the more common challenges women face include depression, eating disorders, perinatal mental health, self-harm, and posttraumatic stress disorder. To highlight women's mental health and wellbeing, Inspire Wellbeing have created some tips to support women's mental health click here for more information.
