SERC Set to Host Valentines Market and Online Valentine’s Catalogue

SERC’s Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Environment team are set to host Valentine’s themed fairs across our four main campuses in Bangor, Downpatrick, Lisburn and Newtownards, as well as create an online Valentines catalogue, so you have more ways to view the lovely goodies on offer by SERC students and staff.

Megan Rollins Senior Innovation Advisor for SERC’s Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Environment Department said, “We look forward to welcoming staff and students to our Valentines fairs. They are a perfect opportunity to browse the wonderful products on offer, pick up a gift for someone or even treat yourself, all while supporting the brilliant student companies here at SERC.

“In addition to the fairs we will have an online catalogue available for the college’s staff and students to browse and make purchases. The catalogue will feature a vast array of products including clothing, jewellery, skincare products, pin badges, candles, soaps, wall prints, and much more.

Megan concluded “The fairs and catalogue provide our student companies with the opportunity to gain experience in creating, producing, and selling their own products to fellow students, staff and members of the public. It is a great opportunity for students to develop their enterprise skills.”

The fairs will be hosted on the following locations, dates and times:

• Newtownards- Outside Willows Canteen- 8 February 10:00-12:30
• Downpatrick- McNeil Room- 9 February 10:00-12:30
• Lisburn- Reception Area- 10 February 10:00-12:30
• Bangor- College Kitchen- 10 February 10:00-12:30
