SERC SU Raise Funds for British Red Cross

In response to the humanitarian crises taking place in Ukraine, SERC’s Students’ Union helped organise a college wide appeal for donations.

The staff and students of the college, displayed incredible generosity and with collections over every campus, filled the sports hall in Bangor with essential supplies that made their way directly to those who needed them.

Not only that but through continued fundraising including dessert boxes supplied by The College Kitchen in Lisburn, flash mob and singalong, donation buckets and a just giving page, the college has raised a total of £1777.99 for The Red Cross Ukraine Appeal.

Recently Charlie King from the British Red Cross visited the college’s Lisburn campus to receive the cheque. She is pictured (left) with Student Engagement Intern Karina Helen Jones.
