SERC Food Truck is a Big Hit at Sea Festival

Sea Bangor Festival 2019 recently saw thousands of people flock to Bangor’s seafront in early June for the chance to board the famous Phoenix of Dell Quay tall ship.  

It was a fun filled two days, with local community groups and organisations coming together to providing live music, entertainment and catering.  

SERC’s Food Truck, “The College Kitchen” was one of the star attractions providing cookery demonstrations and delicious eats for hungry festival goers.  

The food truck is a converted cattle trailer designed and built by the College’s Motor Vehicle, Electrical, Engineering and Creative Media staff and students. It  provides a state-of-the-art, mobile facility enabling enterprising students to trade in the community making it the perfect way for students to gain valuable work experience and participate in community events.
