SERC Celebrates International Student Day

South Eastern Regional College (SERC) brought international students together to celebrate the international student community recently at SERC’s Bangor and Lisburn Campuses.  

International Students Day is marked by several universities and colleges as a non-political celebration of the multiculturalism of their international students. 

International students met for tea and coffee on Friday 8 March with the chance to talk with SERC International Department and Student Union staff. The aim of the event was to help build a sense of community for international students within the College. More events will be planned in the future, with the long-term aim of building a student network for international students to plan their own meetups via the Students Union.
