Here are a number of online classes you can take for physical exercise and training.
Newry, Mourne and Down District Council are offering free on-line courses via Zoom:
- Family Fitness and Self Defence tips
- Kids Self Defence and Awareness
- Well Time for Me

Be Active Stay Active Lisburn Castlereagh are offering the following classes on-line via Zoom and will be delivered by Lisburn and Castlereagh’s Everybody Active 2020 Programme.

KEEP DANCING
FitSteps is an energetic, upbeat dance fitness class featuring all of your favourite Strictly dances. No partner required as you take to the floor for this ballroom and Latin inspired fitness class. Classes take place on Wednesday mornings from 10am-10.40am and Thursday evenings from 7.30pm - 8.10pm
VIRTUAL PILATES
Strengthen your core and increase your muscle tone with a virtual Pilates class! The sessions take place on Tuesday evenings at 7.45pm and Thursday lunchtime at 12.30pm. The sessions are suitable for all levels so why not give it a go!
LEGS, BUMS AND TUMS VIRTUAL CLASS
Get active with our virtual Legs, Bums and Tums class. This is a great session for toning and raising your stamina through aerobic training. Classes take place on Tuesdays & Thursdays from 10.00am – 10.40am
VIRTUAL BOOTCAMP
We know you will be missing your normal exercise class so why not jump on to Zoom and take part in one of our virtual bootcamps. Don’t let your fitness levels take a dip! - Tuesdays 6.30am – 7.10am & 7.00pm – 7.40pm - Fridays 6.30am – 7.10am & 7.00pm – 7.40pm
LUNCHTIME CLASSES
Lunchtime sessions are ideal for people working from home or those who have a spare 40 minutes to enjoy a class. The lunchtime sessions take place from 12.30pm-1.10pm and include:
Beginners HIIT Class – Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A low impact fitness class suitable for all levels.
Pilates – Thursdays. Strengthen your core and improve your flexibility with mat Pilates.
All sessions are suitable for all levels of ability.
