This week, 13 – 17 November, is Enterprise Week. Newry Mourne & Down District Council have organised a full programme of events (both in person and online), workshops and drop-in clinics for the coming week which focus on the global theme of Entrepreneurs Thrive Here.
As part of the Council’s schedule, the Enterprise, Entrepreneurship and Environment team at SERC will be hosting a live panel discussion on Wednesday 15 November at 12noon in Central Hall at the College’s Bangor Campus, to celebrate the overarching Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW).
Under the theme of Entrepreneurs Thrive Here, the team will welcome local eco and social entrepreneurs to share their journeys to a more eco and socially conscious business environment. They will spotlight impactful voices and local organisations and will inspire students/empower budding entrepreneurs within SERC.
The panellists include Colin Jess (Social Enterprise NI), Emma Thompson, (Bee Haven), Marie Nancarrow (Titanic Denim), Diane Hill (NOW Group), Anastacia McGivern (Sew Ready), and SERC’s Entrepreneur in Residence, Terence Brannigan.
