PAT Testing will commence at Bangor Campus in Central Hall @ 09:00 to 10:00 - 23rd to 28th July.

In order for your equipment to be tested, we have set aside timeslots on the four main sites to allow for prioritised checking of equipment. The process will work as follows:

  1. You bring your PC/Monitor/Laptop into the campus that’s most suitable for you and leave it at the designated ‘Drop Off Point’ during the timeslot as per the table below. You are reminded to observe common sense hygiene and social distancing guidance whilst in the building.
  2. The PAT testing will be prioritised for that location/timeslot to minimise the disruption for you.
  3. If you need to do some work whilst you wait, you can go to the Resource Centre or a classroom to use a PC. Alternatively, you may leave and can come back later.
  4. Faulty equipment will be dealt with there and then by IT staff. If a device fails it’s test, you will be issued a replacement.

If you are unable to bring your equipment in because you are officially shielding and have notified HR, you should contact Nicola Newell (nnewell@serc.ac.uk) who will discuss other arrangements with you. If you have any further issue, feel free to contact aemmett@serc.ac.uk for more information.
