Open House Festival: Bangor FM Takeover

SERC radio station, Bangor FM, has teamed up with this year's Open House Festival to produce a series of special programmes, presented by local musicians.  

The Open House Festival, which attracted thousands of visitors to Bangor last summer, recently revealed its packed line-up for 2019, which runs throughout the whole month of August. Open House Festival will feature 163 events in 46 venues.  The Open House Takeover of Bangor FM begins this Friday night (5th July) at 6p.m. to mark this weekend's Seaside Revival festival at the Bangor seafront.   

Local singer-songwriters Rachel McCarthy and Stephen Macartney will present a two-hour special of their hand-picked tunes. There will be nine other special Open House Takeover shows, which will be broadcast on Bangor FM every Friday evening from 6pm from 12 July to 30 August.
