Online Open Day

SERC will be hosting its annual Open Days online on Tuesday 9 and Wednesday 10 March from 1.00pm to 6.15pm.

Heather McKee, Director of Strategic Planning, Quality and Support at SERC said, “At our online Open Days, prospective students are invited to put questions to lecturers in live Question and Answer sessions hosted for the full range of subject areas, Traineeships and Apprenticeships, and support services including Learning Support and Student Finance."

SERC offers a wide variety of courses including Art & Design, Beauty, Business, Computing, Construction, Engineering, Health & Social Care, Performing Arts, Science and Sport - all designed to help you achieve and to prepare you to be part of the next generation of professionals.

If you are unsure of your next step, our Careers Advisors provide a professional, impartial and confidential service to help young people and adults make informed choices about their future career and next steps.   The service is open to everyone in the community - just email careers@serc.ac.uk stating your nearest Campus.

Heather added, “Prior to Open Days, we encourage potential students to explore the courses on offer whether you are a school leaver, returning to education or looking to develop skills in a new area, You can browse our online prospectuses and view our recorded webinars. And for anyone who hasn’t been on campus before, there are short films that will give you a feel for the campuses at Bangor, Downpatrick, Lisburn and Newtownards and a glimpse of student life at SERC."
