Try your hand at ChatGPT or try out a new task in ChatGPT to identify further ways AI can help you. For academic staff that could include simpler resource creation, starting point for lesson plans and schemes of work, tool for students to personalise their learning. For corporate staff that could be to draft copy or content for anything from press releases to funding proposals to emails.

Some AI can create images, and some can help you take minutes! This course is ideal if you have limited experience of AI and want to identify how it could help you with your everyday tasks both within and outside work. You'll love having the confidence to try AI out and explore how it can support you in your personal and work roles in a safe and ethical manner.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Consider uses for additional AI software to support with everyday tasks

Most staff will attend one session. You are welcome to attend both sessions if you wish but the AI uses will be tailored to academic or corporate staff respectively.
