H5P Training

All staff are welcome but this course is most relevant to Academic Staff.

H5P is a web-based platform that is easy to use and build resources on Moodle. It offers a range of resources from quizzes; interactive videos; drag and drag diagrams and many more. The course is ideal if you want to develop interactive resources to help students learn and assess their progress. You'll love the opportunity to build resources quickly and easily for your lessons.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

• Learn how to build the resources.
• Follow progress through reporting in Moodle.
• Provide automatic feedback to learners.

Note: If you want to develop an asynchronous lesson in the final week, it is recommended you attend at least one of the previous sessions to use these tasks in the lesson.

This is a 4-week course:

Session 1: Text Based Tasks: Drag and drop text, Fill in the Blanks and Quiz Sets.

Session 2: Diagrams and Images: Drag and Drop Diagrams for labelling tasks, can also be used for sorting or categorizing topics.

Session 3: Multimedia Resources: Interactive Videos create videos with questions build in and feedback for learners.

Session 4: Creating Asynchronous Lessons with options for students and use previous work on videos, assessment and fill in the blank as examples.
