Today's one minute CPD will focus on Office 365.
1. Send email faster with keyboard shortcuts
- Press Ctrl+Shift+M to start a new email
- Press Ctrl+Enter to send email
- Ctrl+Shift+R starts your reply
Ctrl+Shift+F opens the message for forwarding.
2. Get their attention with @mentions
Need someone’s help with a document or slide? Insert a comment, @mention them, and they’ll get an email containing your request.
3. Break the language barrier
Translate words, phrases or sentences to another language with Microsoft Translator. You can do this from the Review tab in the ribbon.
4. Chart your data with Alt + F1
Select any cell in your data range and press Alt+F1. Voila! You now have a chart!
5. Discard distracting photo details
Emphasize your main subject by removing the background of a picture. Select the picture and choose Format > Remove Background. Mark areas to keep or let PowerPoint do it for you.
6. Get your total by going formula free
Add a Total Row without writing a formula. Just click anywhere inside an Excel table. Then press Ctrl+Shift+T and Excel will add the Total Row to the bottom.
7.Tables make your data pop
Want to turn ordinary data cells into a full-fledged Excel table? Just click anywhere inside your data and press Ctrl+T.
