Northern European Championships for Rachael

SERC student and gymnast, Rachael McMaster, will be competing in the Northern European Championships 2024 in Dublin on Saturday 21 September.

Rachael, (18), from Bangor, is currently completing her A-Levels in Criminology, Sociology and Religious Education at SERC’s Bangor Campus.   The young woman, who has been involved in gymnastics since she was 8 years old is a member of the City of Lisburn Salto National Gymnastics Centre, where she trains for over 20 hours a week.  

Rachael will be participating in the Women's Artistic Gymnastics - Vault, Asymmetric Bars, Balance Beam, Floor Exercise – where she will be competing in Apparatus, All-Around and Team - alongside five other gymnasts - events.

The 12-nation men and women’s international event will see world class gymnasts from Denmark, England, Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Isle of Man, Northern Ireland, Norway, Scotland, Sweden, Wales and Ireland battle it out for Team, All -Around and Apparatus titles.
