New Healthcare Cash Plan Scheme**Deadline 7 December**

From 1 January 2019 the College funded healthcare cash plan scheme will move to a new provider ‘UK HealthCare’. This will replace the scheme currently provided by BHSF which will end on 31st December 2018.
The UK Healthcare Scheme is fully funded by the College at Level 1 for all existing and future employees of the College. Like the current scheme, UK Healthcare will provide personal cover for staff to claim back cash for a range of everyday healthcare expenses such as optical and dental treatment, diagnostic consultation, complementary therapies, physiotherapy and chiropody
Staff will also be able to avail of services such as a confidential counselling helpline, discounted gym memberships, health screening, prescriptions and savings on holidays, theme parks retail etc through Incorpore Ltd.
To enable staff transfer to the new scheme and have access to College funded Level 1 cover we are required to share with UK Healthcare your following information;
- Your forename and surname
- Your date of birth
- Your home address
- Your work e-mail address
This information will be provided by SERC to UK Healthcare via a secure encrypted file.
To help you understand how your information will be used by UK Healthcare, we have provided their Privacy Notice (UK Health Care), for your information.
We are unable to provide your information detailed above, without your consent. If you wish to join the new scheme please click HERE to give your consent.
The deadline for consent is Friday 7th December 2018, current staff will be unable to join the scheme after this date, therefore if we do not receive a response from the consent form, we will assume that you do not wish to join the new scheme.
You may withdraw consent for your information to be shared up until the 7th December 2018 by contacting HR@serc.ac.uk and advising.
If consent is given, your details will be passed to UK Healthcare who will be in contact with you directly with details on the scheme, services provided, upgrades and options to add family members (dependant children up to age 24 are covered as part of the College funded Level1).
Please note that claims for expenses incurred up to 31st December 2018 can continue to be made through BHSF for up to 13 weeks of the date of the treatment occurring.
