New Digital Engineering Assured Skills Academy

Economy Minister Gordon Lyons has launched an Assured Skills Academy in Digital Engineering in partnership with Deloitte, offering 23 high quality training places.   

The Assured Skills Academy will see participants receive seven weeks of industry-relevant training with SERC at the College's Bangor Campus. Completing the Academy guarantees participants an interview for a Belfast-based role at Deloitte in one of its Engineering teams.  

Highlighting the opportunity, the Minister said: “I am pleased to announce 23 training places on this Assured Skills Academy in Digital Engineering with Deloitte and SERC."

“This Academy is an excellent opportunity for people with a degree in any discipline, or 18 months’ relevant experience, to reskill for a career in the cutting edge space of digital engineering and potentially gain employment with leading multinational Deloitte."

Applications for the Deloitte Digital Engineering Assured Skills Academy are open now and close at midnight on Sunday 25 September 2022.

Applicants must hold a minimum 2:2 degree in any discipline upon commencement of training, or 18 months’ relevant experience. This can include cloud technology, coding and scripting or digital engineering skills.
