Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts at SERC

In the past few months, five SERC staff have been recognised by Microsoft as new MIE Experts: Nichola Heron, Diane Weatherup, Gillian Auld, Fiona Cullen and Owen Parkes. These staff join an international, professional learning community of other educators who are constantly pushing the boundaries of what a classroom looks and feels like. Microsoft Innovative Educator Experts (MIEE) enjoy sharing their learning with colleagues and other educators. Microsoft recognises MIE Experts as resourceful and entrepreneurial, who work to achieve excellence in education using Microsoft technologies coupled with innovative teaching practices.

Nominations for MIE Experts 2022-2023 will open in May of 2022 and close July 7, 2022.

Microsoft formally announce those in the program at the end of August 2022, in a blog post and by posting the updated official list.
