10 June 2024
Men’s Health Week takes place from 10 to 16 June 2024. The overall aim is to raise awareness of preventable health problems that disproportionately affect men, and the week encourages men to gain more confidence in looking after their health.
To help improve your health, you can check out the Northern Ireland Chest Heart and Stroke (NICHS) booklet ‘A Healthier You’, which gives insight into how to manage your wellbeing with their ‘Seven Steps to Wellbeing’ i.e. weight management, eating a balanced diet, keeping physically active, stop smoking, moderate your alcohol intake, manging your stress levels and sleeping well.
